love the use of DOF (:

backwaters...i had taken such a boat for a night in Allepy in 2004, and it was an unforgoten experience...

I really like the mood in this one. Some element --DOF perhaps?-- creates an effect of making the image look like it is a shot of "miniatures" --especially the boat thatching and bow tire, and the small palm tree.

Love this image.
The depth of focus really helps to isolate the subject. I just wish I could see more of the boat.
